ok, so no one responded to the thread i added to so here goes... I am buying new leaf packs from quadretec, what else do i need?

what kinda jeep and reason for swapping out the packs? do they come with bushings ? are your bolts seized???

sorry, its a 1996 cherokee, packs are sagged beyond reason, they do not come with bushings, and I have no idea if they are seized, as i have not tried to remove them yet.

They are most likely seized u want to get pb blaster and start spraying 2 days ago every day until the u are ready to remove the bolts, then u may want to get new u bolts and thats about it I think.

you'll need new bushings, ubolts, and definitly pb blast that bitch for a couple days. consider new thru-bolts - grade 8 or higher ^_^ enjoy no sagging.

I recently got the stock replacement leaf springs from quadratec. they are ok. flex is on the shitty side and the ride extremely rough. can your shocks as well. You will definetly need all new bushings. its not worth the hassle of getting them out. mine settle with in a week and my jeep stands tall again.
