Would it be beneficial to keep the exisitng tiie rod ends and just put a thicker tubing in between?
opinions thoughts blah blah . Also if available would it be a good idea to use stainless steel tubing or solid stock stainless steel. Is that feasable?

you can do it. but ive seen stock tie rod ends break as well as the tie rod bending. if your going to do all that work (well its actually not much work) anyway you might as well upgrade to larger/stronger ends and ream out your knuckles.
for tubing i would go with some beefy dom and paint it. screw that stainless steel fancy pants stuff.

I can get stainless for free thats why i ask. i am looking at alternatives on the cheap. I may end up with just a v8 zj tie rod and thats it.

well if u wanna keep the stock ends, there are cheap options like the big daddy tie rod, i think its like 70 bucks. when i went up in steering though i had to buy 1 ton ends, just seemed if i was gonna do it it better be worth it. JCR makes some nice stuff the price isnt bad either
