they are different tools i guess......but its not like the harborfreight one wont work the exact same way

this one looks like it grabs the ujoint on either side vs pushing on the cap...but i also dont see a price for it..or a link to buy it.
so for $39 the HF looking better atm....
but still curious aboot the other one eh?

That is a pitman arm puller they are using in that article. I've never seen that done before. Greg the tool I used to change your ujoint and all of mine is a ball joint clamp. Works awesome.

YEAH YEAH ask the installer about his u joint removal in my vise... his damn drive shaft was outta round where the u joint goes in..... broke the handle on my vise and took a serious beating to come out and for the new one to go in .... talk about a a square peg in a round hole!!
i just figured it would be a good tool to have around...

just get a new fucking drive shaft, the jaws of life wont make it easy to get a ujoint out of that pos

if your already spenin 40 might as well go the extra hundred and get a hydraulic press, works great and not only for u joints
