With disk brakes there is no reason to be pulling the shafts other than for an axle seal, and at that point who gives a shit.

Everyone bitches about that? IT takes an additional 20 mins to drain the fuild. Who cares, there is notjhing wrong with new fluid in there.

think of it this way. You have a dana 60 rear and a 14 bolt rear. you only plan to run 37s. the 60 is setup for a jeep, the 14 bolt isnt. theyre basically the same price. Why wouldnt you do the 60? it may be "weaker" but that doesnt mean its Weak.

i dont plan on going higher than 35's and if i dont have to fab than that would be better

everybody knows only losers run 8.8's.

and if you wanna run 37's on a 44, 33 spline alloy 1.41" diameter will own 31 spline 1.32 diameter 8.8 shafts.

and 8.8 carriers are junk, if you wheel you should go full case locker

and the 44 is already setup for an xj and is already geared to match your front axle

and halls junkyard still has one chillin' under a waggy in the back
