i have a 4" r/c lift w currie boomerangs and 33 tires w/ tlk...my question is being that im new to this scene im just wondering what the cheapest most durable way to get 36 inch tires running on my yj. can i use what i have and just modify it or do i have to go all new....i dont f'n know....want to do it right not halfass but dont want to break the bank or my jeep,so if you guys could help me in the right direction let me know! Any in put would be greatly appreciated

you will need to upgrade your axles with 36 inch tires.

if you leave the 30 in front open youll be somewhat safe. but the 35 in back will have to go

The rear axle is a definate "must go". A Ford 8.8 out of an Explorer is a good choice or a Dana 44 from a Comanche or Cherokee is a good axle either. The Dana may be a little harder to come by though. The 8.8 you can get with disk brakes so that is a plus.

if i go with an 8.8 whats the cost for one thats not shit and whats up w/ driveshafts ....i would assume i need new ones,right? also w/ disk brakes is that hard to change over? what do you mean by leaving frt d30 "open" also what do i do with the suspension? thanks for responding guys!

they make an adapter for the yoke to fit yer drive shaft... i think M.O.R.E or sumone makes em ...
