because i cant get 4 36" bias tsl's for $370
and 16.5" is the only rim size i can get those tires in.
i just found weld on beadlocks for 90 bucks a wheel, might go that route, not sure yet.

Why are beadlocks only on the outside? Can't the tire come off the back of the rim too?
I never understood that..

dont get those, theyre HMMWV tires run on all the military rigs right now. you can find a MUCH better tire for a dedicated off road rig than those. take my word for it.
theyre so cheap because theyre probably from some government surplus, theyre pretty generic tires when it comes down to it.
also humvees running those out in the desert now now range from 6-10,000 pounds. think about the load range on those tires and how well theyre going to flex and conform as a result.
though on the flip-side they ARE a bias tire, and tough

^^ agreed, i herd the tread doesn't bite for shit on those. but i have no applicable experience. But i wouldnt waste money on those tires just to not like them and be stuck with them until you can afford good ones. I've seen nothing but good shit with my friends and iroks, but they dont like the road too much.
and +1 for TSL's
