Hey guys.
Ok so I need some opinions.
My rear end is a Ford 8.8. Its 31 splines, and has Limited Slip.
Within a month, im getting a locker.
I need some opinions..
I can have a full case Detroit installed for 630, or an ARB Locker installed for 850 but then I need a Compressor.
Thing is, I am eventually get a Selectable for my D30, so that means if I do ARB now, I can get an ARB for the front also, and have a sick locking setup.
I dont want OX.

as far as I know youll probably HAVE to go with a detroit as ive read you have to replace the carrier on an 8.8 with limited slip to put in a locker.

If I was to get an Aussie, I need to get a stock carrier anyways, so no matter what Greg at Banditt Offroad is going to be resetting the gears. So im thinking about good full case lockers like Detroit Eaton E-Locker ARB Banditt wont install OX, because sam brought him the wrong shit so it pissed him off so he wont put them in.

Money isnt really an issue.
I am goign to be getting a front before winter anyways, thats why I was thinking doing ARB on both axles.
The Eaton E-Locker looks good too though..
Anyone hear anything abotu them?
I cant find anything bad about them.

a friend of mine has an 8.8 with a full detroit and it's great which is why I thin kyou should go for one. I have 60's now and have full detroits for them because I like them so much. Get a full case one not a lunch box junker.

dont spool your dd. just dont do it. sure it has the 'best' driving characteristics, as in no noises or unloading or anything, but it still drags/chirps tires around turns, and take it from me.....i ran a spool for 6 months on road, it kils your tires pretttttty quick. not worth it at all
