you might be alright then. don't scare me like that. There is no need for new shims, they are only shims and don't go bad. The way you set up a new set of gears is to install the new gears with tehe old shims. Then add or remove where needed. You'll sit there all night if you start at any random place.

fyi the drums from Napa are over $75 a piece. I'd try to turn them Advance Auto 37.99

yeah right, when you go there, they'll give you dana 35 drums guarenteed. Then you'll need to order them.......trust me on this.

I saved them all.. the carrier is totally shot.. so i took it out.. but i saved EVERYTHING, even all the springs for the brakes lol.. im not throwing anything out until i know i have a replacment for sure.. tomarrow im going to sand down the housing and paint it.. prolly order my gears friday, 420 shipped, master installs and gears and 2 new carriers.. im gonna have to wait a little bit to get the locker..

well then I got screwed when I bought mine. I went to the Napa warehouse and they were something like $75 a piece, in stock as allways.
