ok so ive been reading on how to wire up the six lights that i have. 2 55w on the bumper and 4 100w on the roof. some people say to just run it to the batt and a switch with an inline fuse but the diagram on the sticky says to use a relay. is this necessay? im going to run 2 switches. whats the easiest way to wire these?

do the relay. i used to not do it when i started out, but doing it all correctly (relays, proper gauge wire, fuses) will improve the lights performance, and keep it safe from fires if theres a short or whatever else. heres a general idea (ignore fusebox)

fuse holder can be bought at radio shack if it isnt already wired into the lights
either diagram will work. my first time i had a hell of a time doing it cuz i had no experience prior, but once you get it, youll get it

better use relays bud or you'll be burning up the switches

If you need a hand wiring it all up, let me know. I used to work as a car electronics installer, and still enjoy doing that stuff from time to time.
