ok Bandit's 1 ton steering is at the top of my list.. but i wanted to know, what else is out there? I dont really need it installed for me as i can do it my self.. so i was wondering what does everyone suggest? i bent my tie rod and id like to upgrade rather then just replace with an OEM part..

Looks like a huge waste of money. You can buy the rod ends separately and buy swedged steel rods from www.speedwaymotors.com

They even give you the part numbers. Bring them to a local store. It should cross. They look like Moog part numbers.

as far as im concerned curries system is the easiest most reliable problem and hasle free steering available for the jeep. its heat treated chromoly so you know is serious. i am quarry"tierod" adams so i managed to bend mine but that was after i slamed the entire weight of the vehicle on it and ended up hung up on a stump with my tires off the ground. ive broken rocks into pieces and had no ill effects. its not cheap but theres no doubt that its one of if not the best

I'm making my own. I bought 12' of 3/8" solid cold rolled steel bar for $20. All I need to do is put it in my lathe, drill & tap and fire the rod ends in there. Done. I will be selling the Rusty's HD one I have incase anyone wants it.
