Will, if you are going to go full width, you need to go 1 ton, 8 lug. I mean, why do all that work for inferior axles? If you are going to do it, go all the way. Atleast that's my opinion. You can convert it to a different lug pattern if you want.

u can convert to an 8 later on down the line from a stock 5 patern? There are kits to convert your 8 lug-( I might have read what was wrote wrong) let me try to find who makes them. I was going to do something like that when I had the Yota rear.

Your only hope is to run a bigger backspacing like 5" or so. Fullwidths are gonna stick out no matter what. Dana 60's front and rear ;D

well thats why i planned a 65" axle with 5.5 BS. 67"+ 60s front and rear arent gonna fly with my 35s and every day use

then you shouldn't do it, full width's are not for a DD. Your talking buggy material now

a 65" HP44 axle is nowhere near considered a buggy axle
my axles right now are roughyl 63+ WMS WMS, an extra 2" overall wont make it un-DDable
not to mention a 60s pumpkin is quite large and not ideal for 35s

Will I'm just talking about the " getting pulled over factor". these things are gonna stick out and attract attention, i.e. buggy. You may be able to cover them with bushwackers with alot of backspacing. I mean don't get me wrong, I think it's a cool idea but I just don't think your DD should be such a target. Inspection sucks, I know.

i have a lot of confidence there seeing as half this club hasnt been hassled lol. corey and jeffs tires may as well be on full widths as they stick completly out of the wells, mine are 75% outside of my fender as well, seems the cops round here dont care ;D

My tires dont stick out too far, but I'd say about halfway and I drive past multiple cops each and every day without any of them hassling me. I really think they look for those rice burners who are going to do 75 in a school zone rather then a bunch of guys whos jeeps cant go past 80 on a highway anyway.
