well
i found out that i have a bad valve cover gasket and i put in a new thermostat...
changed the coolant, it was rusty brown...
it is still over heating
what is my next step?

drain the coolant again and the oil check the motor to see if there are any visible, like oil leaks or if anythin like that and if not blow the motor and get a 350 CARBOURATED

Lets see...what did I do to fix my overheating problem.
New engine, backwashed it, and removed the thermostat. Now I think the engine runs too coled, but hey, as long as its not overheating. But I wouldnt reccomend what I did. I would look into flushing your coolant system, get all the rust out of there and see what that does.

well i installed a new radiator and that helped out a bit...
i think the water pump is the next order of business because when i rev the motor the temp will cool down
might also be a sensor...
