ever since this bumper went on, my jeep has developed a creak, a heavy creak, like the kind you hear on a wooden floor. its rreally hard to pinpoint, but what i assume is, since this bumper stiffened everything up so intensely, it only transferred whatever flexing in the unibody that was there, to somewhere else, and i think my trackbar may be ripping its own mount off the frame. either that or my steering box is beginning to crack the unibody. either way i need some sort of bracing welded in and a new trackbar system. OR a control arm could be loose, the noise is really hard to pinpoint. oh and my balljoint has crazy play in it and the ujoint of course is gone.

Just take the exhaust off... then you won't hear any noises.
A couple months after my ball joints started to have "crazy play" I started to get MASSIVE death wobble. I couldn't drive over 10 mph without death wobble.

I think that you may be right about the steering box or teh trac bar bracket. i know in my 94 xj the trac bar bracket was loose and fit the description you have given for noisees. if you need to reinforce teh steering box mouning pt it would not be hard to mae a brace. i have some 3/16" steel diamond plate i will be making in to a steering box brace. My front bumper is just as HD as yours and it strengthens the unibody a lot i bet but i have never noticed any noiseses from it being installed 3 weeks ago.

he means a brace, that style is like rustys and as far as i know just creates a levering action that doesnt help much. this is what hes referring to doing www.c-rok.com/sb.htmlinner and outer brace = sweet our aftermarket bumpers act as the outer portion, so he wants to build an inner

just did
so i just went out, took it all apart, reseated the pads to make sure they were all alligned correctly, sprayed it all down liberally with brake cleaner, reinstalled it all, and took it for a drive. it braked perfectly fine for the first mile or so, about 10 brakes into it, it started to pull severly to the left again, same exact as it was before.
