Will, I dont know if you remember this But I took your stock shackles out Early summer of 05...
I Busted open a 1/2 inch snap on ratchet and almost broke my arm.

the leafs that come with the RE 4.5 kit are their 3.5 leafs w/shackles. good thing to know.
the 4.5" packs go with their RE 5.5 kit

(this is just an idea, nothing set in stone yet..) |

typically a longer shackle and less arched pack will get more flex than a higher arched pack. when you get new packs you should always get the shackle. they dont cost much of anything anyway www.jeepinoutfitters.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=125these shackles dont give a true 1.25 so theyre perfect. about .75 to be exact cool.. well now i know what i gotta get.. just gotta suck it up and buy it all hah.. |

X2 on running the smallest spring possible. I'm running TNT 1.5"UBE's w/ 3.5" leafs and revolvers. It flexes nicely.

the flatter the leaves the better the flex.The longer the shackle the better the flex. If you want even more flex fab up a shackle mount to move the top of your shackle forward.
