ok, so i have the good old power window problem in my new xj. i am able to put down ONLY my drivers window. i cannot control any of the passenger windows, not even from the drivers side controls. i did the jumper trick to override the lockout control but that didnt do anything (yes i jumped the correct 2 wires, i followed the directions and pictures)
everyone that i have seen that has had a problem has at least been able to put down all the windows from the drivers side control, but mine doesnt do anything. i think thats why the jumper trick worked for them, but i have yet to find anyone else that has the same problem i do.
any of you guys have any ideas on what else i could do??

yeah i checked all the fuses first. everything was fine there. a guy over at jf.com said one of the wires goin from the drivers side to the passenger side must be broken. i am headed out to the garage now with my tester. hopefully i will figure this darn thing out

just take off the doors and never have to deal with windows again. O wait. you have post '97 door hinges.

I'd rather have the pre-97. Easier to remove with dremel, railroad spike and hammer.
