Im not talk trash Cory, but isnt going from a coil rear to a leaf rear completely ass backwards? What is the point of doing that? Is it because its easier and/or cheaper? That is the only possible explaination I could think of. But if you are spending thousands to do the axles, tires etc, why not do it right, do it the first time and just do coils. If that is the case, sell your TJ, buy a YJ, coil the front, and you will still have thousands left over to play with. I just dont understand it.

It is ass backwards if you dont consider the rewards of a leafed rear 1 is the stretch. Ill gain an easy 10 inches in the rear alone 2 is the simplicity the only somewhat complex part is the ladder bar ill have to make and thats only gonna take a couple hours. 3 Leafs are far more stable than coils. 4 it will be 100x easier than setting upa 4 link properly and when i say properly i mean perfect, Im not even near expirienced enought to even completly understand how to make a 4 link work right. From what ive found doing all my reasearch the people who do this mod and do it correctly are not only completly satisfied with it but they also claim it to be just as good as a coil setup. That and the fact that theres less moving parts to worry about and if i do bust a leaf they are only stock xj leafs that can be found anywhere. Thats why im doing it and your not the first person to ask why dont worry about it haha

Corey, if you are getting a Chevy Dana 60 front, that is gonna be passanger drop. What are your plans for the transfer case?
