Don't worry about the color - its just gonna turn brown anyway. Don't worry about the interior - as long as the dirver seat is there. It'll work, You'll be happy, though, you won;t be able to take your doors off with ease like the pre '97 owners. You can do it, it just takes more work. Buy it. or see if you can get another one for cheaper.

that looks really solid. has the interior i had originally wanted in mine one thing you should look for. the rear axle: if its a d35, expect to wanna swap that out for something else soon. Check to see if its a Chrysler 8.25 29 spline. Its pretty easy to find out. if it has a flat bottom, its an 8.25, if its all round, you're out of luck, you have a d35. heres some pics. It'll be one of the top 2, pray its the 8.25.

Quick way to find out what it has before you buy it: Run the VIN.

hahaha... i would... but i already have had a ZJ... loved it... killed it... moved on... Well, i didn't completley kill it, just to the point where you wouldn't want to drive it anymore. But yeah, I would plan on putting a D44 in it... i already knew that. But I wouldn't have to run a D44 with 31s, would I? I figured I would build it up slowly... a 3/4'' lift and 31/32s to begin with... then later on, when i get more money, bigger + better

yes, i did mean 3 or 4 inch lift... kinda like i meant 31 or 32 inch tires... not 31/32nd inch tires... that'd be small... MATCHBOX sized!
And I know a D44 can be used with anything, i should rephrase my previous question.
Would I need a d44 (or 8.8 etc) to run 31s? Or could I stay with the D35/8.25 (i've asked to see the window sticker, so i'm assuming its teh d35... but it'd be great if it was a 8.25)

Man you can run a d35 with 33s 32s 31s whatever you want, Just take it easy on the go pedal (dont let valentine influence you) Plus with the 35 you can just carry some spare shafts with you in case you break them ( i just happen to have a spare set you can have diiirt cheap) And that looks like a pretty good deal to me (i like blue too)

alright, its settled then... I'm working this summer with that jeep in mind as motivation. Though if philip morris would hurry up and split into 3 companys, i could sell out of kraft foods and PMUSA and have enough money to buy it as soon as that happened... *sigh* goddamn stock market.
