i did a little monroe session myself, thank god i had winch+tow strap+chain cuz i got stuck in a big hole in the middle of a field and needed every inch of recovery gear to get me to a tree, made it by less than a foot, intensity

dude the m-8274 is unanimously the best and most reliable winch warn has ever made... so popular in fact they just started making them again, it sells for 1,300 while their 12k winches sell for 800, its greatness has something to do w/ the gears they use, i think i heard they were smelted by the grittiest, toughest and most grizzled WWI vets they could find
