Because I have too much time on my hands right now and as a preperation for moving to New Hampsire I want to flush out my heater core and radiator. I know how to do the heater core. However can I do the radiator the same way? I was thinking of just diconnecting the radiator hoses and maybe the drain and just run a grden hose through it till it comes out as water and just fill the system and check everthing.

You'll need to remove the thermostat I think in order to do a full flush.

When i do it i remove the t stat, and i flush it out that way through the radiator cap and let it all drain, then reinstall cap and fill with on container full coolant and then the last is usually about 1/2 full coolant and that should be a good mix with what water is left inside the engine. or do the last one a 50/50 pre mix coolant.

when you fill it back up make sure you run your jeep with the cap off as so the bubbles can escape, then re-fill
