its just rain, but white and more solid-like.
my stepdad this morning had to go check a sidejob out quick but didnt bc he "saw how bad it was out." this man drives a cherokee.i dont understand. its currently snowing, nice and pretty like, maybe 2" at best outside. it isnt a blizzard, 40mph winds, whiteout conditions, children dying playing hopscotch outside. its not even cold compared to last week. people dont stay inside when it rains right? and all thius "omg so much snow this season" talk.. do you expect one snowstorm? thats like, expecting one rainstorm in summer. its the same thing essentially, its just colder. people drive in snow all the time in snowy areas in utah and colorado, its NORMAL WEATHER- its not some freak thing.
and to all the hazard-light-flashing drivers i will see today driving to school- fuck off and fuck you. i know its snowing, i can see your driving 30 in a 65. next time, stay the fuck home.
/rant.

I dont know anybody like that personally except for old people that shouldn't be on the road to start. I love the snow and driving in it. I do not like the cold tho.

i agree 100% adam. i drive for a living near the NYC area so EVERYONE is freaked out and hates snow. these people suck and i can't deal with them. last storm i was doing 15 in a 50 for 30 miles. i personally can't wait to go out and drive through the snow. my roommates gf will not drive when its snowing or going to snow, keeps complaining about how she got hit in a parking lot or something a few weeks ago.... oh she drives a 99 XJ

I know the roads are snowy just drive like a smart human being and it will be fine. I love driving in the snow. Im heading up to MA this afternoon in the snow so ill take pics of all the idiots on the side of the road.

Agreed. No offense to the Pa people on here, but definitely down near Reading area where i am people freak out and do not want to drive. Same goes for people a little further south. Its hilarious to watch people hear a storm is coming and also run out to the store to get all their food and drinks in case something happens. Being from NE and upstate CT im used to this snow like many of us on here an laugh. For crying outloud Adam and I drove to NY in that bad storm in Dec we had with and without 4wd. But a little snow isnt gonna kill people to drive in.

My g/f and i are both good snow drivers, but her mom goes nuts and "OMG your not leaving the house there is snow on the ground!" cause she sucks at driving in it. There are alot of people that just go nuts if there is a flake in the sky, its really not that hard, drive slower, brake sooner, and be smart. I just dont get the fear. But then again some people are afraid of driving in general, i think some people just shouldnt drive if they can take unexpected events.

I dont mind driving in the snow at all. My dad took me out when i first started driving in his avalanche an was like this is what you do. He had me floor it in a parking lot and step on the break. He did it w/ and w/o 4wd so i could see the difference. Now my parents really dont give a shit unless it is like whiteout conditions, but they trust me enough to drive. I mean whenever i come home from school or leave to go back im always in some kind of storm; rain or snow. It's just all about being smart.

i dont care if u live in the yukon mother effin territory
no matter where u are there are retard people who have no concept of snowfall
i dont consider myself a master snow driver but i do have a brain and it tends to help in most cases

im not sure whats worse, the overly cautious ones, or the ones that think their SUVs are invincible....bother are pretty stupid though Statement of fact. I know a guy who was driving truck through NC and it was snowing and maybe 2 inches on the ground and he said he pulled over and got off the road because the other drivers were so crazy and veering off the road ever where that he didnt want to get hit himself. NC has literally no snow removal equipment, my mom was ther on work once and it snowed 6" and cities shut down for 4 days.

My future in-laws are like that. Whenever it snows they stay in except for emergency cases and aren't a fan of when I drive around in it but my family has never been fearful of it since we've always done plowing and are all pretty used to it.
