I've been to 2 nascar races and they are pretty fucking intense. I doubt anybody here has seen 200mph in a car before and i can only imagine how hard controling a car becomes at those speeds. Don't get me wrong i dont think nascar drivers are anywhere near the league of indy, rally, formula 1, motorcycle, etc. racing drivers are. But i absolutely consider those sports so why not nascar?
As far as the restrictor plates, i dont really think it matters that much because if they were to take them off then every car manufacturer will build the most amazing motors anyone has ever seen, and eventually it will hit a point where you can make them much faster, so were back to square one.

i think its boring to watch on TV.
i also think rock crawling can be boring to watch on tv. But i love to do it.
the only motor sports that I personally enjoy watching is motoGP and motocross/supercross

Adam, Will all of the cars being exactly the same don't you think it becomes more of a sport because it has to do with the racers driving abilities versus the fact that they have better equipment? After all, the racers are the athletes in question here, not the motor manufacturers. x2. and holy crap im agreeing with chris  |

true... but which one is more fun  and i dont think the amount of gas we use compared to the 4-5 tanks they kill on a 400-500 lap race is a fair ratio  |
