Corey any suggestions for a filter? Preferably one without a air pump I guess

Not really, I don't know much about the little tanks. The filter in my tank just about holds 2.5 gallons If it were a ten gallon I recommend the whisper filters. Extremely quiet and filter well.

I use the whisper, it uses an air pump that isn't the quiet. Lol

If it uses an air pump then it's not really a filter per say. I think you need to just get a ten gallon and get a real filter. Probably be less maintenance.
