My brother just called me up and said his girlfriends '98 cherokee wont start. So i gave him a small list of things to check, and he calls me back 30 minutes later and says he can get it to start but as soon as he takes his foot of the throttle it stalls out.
Earlier in the week it was real cold and it wouldnt start. The tank was near empty, so he filled the tank and put a batch of dry gas in with it. Since then it ran normal, but i would imagine the tank is near empty again and there is junk in the tank.
I told him it sounded to me like a clogged fuel filter, just curious what the rest of you thought.

X2 if you let it run for a couple minutes with your foot on the gas the IAC will unstick and will be fine.

x3 on that, especially if the battery is tweaking or a bad main ground or something to that effect

take your iac off the back of your throttle body and clean it and put it back on.
