ok so i have a stock head unit in my 01 Cherokee and i just got one for a 2003 grand Cherokee. its a little nicer with both cd and cassette. but my problem is that they dont both just plug right in i guess i need some kind of adapter. does anyone kno what i need and where i can get it?
also i play on running my amp and 8 inch sub off of this headunit but it doesnt have the red and white plugs. is there another adapter i can get to make that work?

The red and white plugs are RCA connectors it's Red(right) and white(left) These leave the headunit as low outputs (as opposed to high outputs) and hopefully your amplifier has low inputs, which take the signal from the low output of the headunit. If you need these cables they can be purchased online, walmart, circuit city, bestbuy, pretty much wherever car stereo equipment is sold.
As for an adapter, I'm not sure you'll find one for your specific application, you may need to splice these wires yourself. Check first with a higher quality/performance shop as to whether one exists or not. I myself am actually looking for a 94cherokee to pioneer adapter for plug an play convenience .
Good luck.
