if any of you have a HP30 with 3.73 or 4.10s out of a cherokee or a dana 35 from a TJ with 3.73's or 4.10's let me know (needs to be cheap )
Sick of being under geared with 3.07's and pulled my jeep up on the lift at work today and noticed my pass side unit bearing is junk and needs replacing, along with pinion seal and a few other things...

why dana 35? why not find a 44 out of a TJ?

make sure your pinion doesnt have play in it, a buddy of mine brought his tj over to change the pinion seal on his and we found he had like 1/8" of play in his pinion

why dana 35? why not find a 44 out of a TJ? because 44's dont come cheap  Im not looking for axles to build up right now, just to make driving a little easier and take care of the problems my current axles have right now. I'll probably keep the HP30 and build it up a little, I dont plan on going to crazy with my jeep, just back up to 35's, Then in the future get another 8.8 and set it up for a TJ like I had originally to go into it |

I have a d30 housing come and get it fo free..... shit Ill give u some oreos if you take it.... it has 3.55s no axle shafts.... no unit bearings

I just built a d30 with 4.10s. Open carrier. all painted and nice. was going to stuff it under a truck to sell the truck but if you want to buy it ill take another HP d30 complete as a core and work out something with you? New ball joints, cleaned up knuckles. I was going to do the new u joints and find a decent set of hub bearings out of the pile i have. I think this axle came out of Adams truck? lol I also have 2 other HPd30's that need a rebuild. Both 3.55 HPd30's. I could rebuild one with bearings if the gears are good. Both axles need ball joints but whatever PM me if interested. .   |
