Stroker is a waste of money. The 4.0 is a decent reliable engine. Not a good block to build from. Just spend your money elseware until your prepared to drop in a real engine such as a 360.

I'm not really looking to swap in EXTREME MOAR POWERZ like a 350 or something. Thats why i was initially interested in swapping the 5.2. Im just looking for something that has some extra grunt when i need it. Basically the 4.0 has a decent amount of torque, just some more power from mid-top.

. my opinion, not worth the time and money for the motor. if i ever have to do one for myself i would do a chevy 5.3l aluminum block. agreed. lsx motors are awesome. 5.2 is a turd. not worth it in the least other than the v8 rumble effect

Just learning this site. I've a cherokee,Limited .Blown 350 hooked to a 305 after I put 32's,it orgin. blt for 35's but now I'm looking to ether sell or fix. Looking for help,or sell as is for pic.s call my cell ( 203) 512--1384 Southbury, CT.

dude just drive a 4 cylinder jeep for a week
your 4.0 on 36's will feel like a rocketship in comparison (provided you have decent gears)
