my problem is getting a bolt into the frame rail and being able to hold it tight while I tighten it down so it doesnt spin. They want you to use a preexisting hole in the frame rail to do drop this bolt down in and than tighten it somehow. the closest other hole in the frame rail is about 6 inches away and is no where near big enough for a wrench. anyone got any suggestions as to how? I also have to do this but up inside the crossmember.

I attempted to warn you about this before... Its really wierd that they would have you use that pre existing hole.
I recommend you find someone nearby with a welder, either cut a hole in the side of the frame and drop a bolt down in then weld the bolt in place and weld the hole you made shut, OR if you dont want to do that, cut the head off a bolt, stick the stud up through the hole and weld it around the bottom of the hole. Only problem is the skid wont sit flush with the bottom of the frame.
Thats all i could think of at the time when i did mine, I did option 2, it doesnt sit perfectly flush but it works and its still strong.
