4.56 would be better for the highway? I would think that it would put my RPMs much hight with a 5 spd. i have 4:56's with 36" tire and a 5-speed and its not to bad, i would like 4.88's but im not going to complain. but hell my last setups where 33's on 3.07's (sucked donkey) and 35"s on 4.10's i would kill for a 4:1 t-case.... 33's, 4:10's and a 4:1 t-case would be a great combo for a 5 speed 4.0

I understand about the 4.56 but if I plan on running 35s I will have a locked 30. Isnt it not a good thing having a locked 30 on 35s? You can. Just carry spares and be easy on the skinny pedal. It has been done and will continue to be done.

Ok, that was my other thought was just be easy and carry spares. I do like the idea of a 4:1 tcase but I do not have that kinda money, but it is on the long term plan. How is it on the highway with a 32 inch tire and 4.56 though. Will my RPMs be wicked high even in 5th? Thank you very much, sorry I have so many questions.

Do the 4.56. With the 32s and ax 15 expect to see rpm range to be 2500 at 65 which is good. Plenty of power and you will still be able to maintain very good driveabilty.

Ok I think I will do 4.56, if I do not like how it is I will just have to get bigger tires.
