my speedo needle is jumpin around like crazy anything over 25mph.. nd it's jumping at a faster speed then i'm going...say i'm doing 40, it's jumping around t like 55-65?
ideas people?

x2 on that....also is your sensor mechanical or electronic on the tailshaft of the tcase? I'd check the contacts on it if electric as well as the speedometer gear (teeth damage)

on the drive home, uphill in 3rd gear the motor also stutters dramatically, catches it's breathe and stutters again, will do this until i let off the gas or get it to go into 4th.. and like i said, the speedo needle jumps far ahead of my actual speed, and what i mean to say that even being high because of my regearing, it's higher then that. it doesn't jump back, it just flicks +5-6mph then relaxes and will continue to do this..

there is a single nut on your t-case tailhousing
loosen said nut and pull the sensor. you will either be holding the problem, or you will see the problem

ok, don't remove a small fastener and fix it, just post on the internet once every few days and complain
