I know this a Ford thread but I thought some of you might get a kick out of it. I work at a Ford Dealer and we have a 2007 Ford Rousch come in for running like shit. Whatever tech looked at it called Rousch they said it needed a PCM. Put a PCM in it and 8 plug cuz Rousch said so. We also reminded the customer to put 93 octane in it becasue he put shitty 87 in it. Come back 3 days and 300 miles later running like shit AGAIN and with a full tank of shitty gas. Tried 8 more plugs and after a 35 mile roadtest it ran like shit again. Call Rousch back they said do all the test you can then call us back. So the Tech tested everything he could think of. Call Rousch back and they said at the customers expense you must drain the tank put 93 octane in it And then drive it again. Call the customer andthe customer said and I quote "This is fucking bull shit. Why should I have to pay for something that Rousch nor the Salemans never told me about. I was never told to put 93 octane in it." It says all over the car like the gas cap, under the hood, and in the owner's manual to use 93 octane or better. Oh and I for got to mention he wanted use to change the oil in it with SuperTech Full Synthetic. I would think that aperson who can afford a brand new Ford 427 Rousch Mustang would have a half a brain to put in the right gas and a good grade of oil.
