so im thinking about doing a top end rebuild on my motor this winter, i need valve stem seals yesterday and instead of using that air compressor thingie to charge the chamber to keep valves from falling down, my neighbor with a big ass garage and tools and stuff said just to pull the head and we can do it in his garage.
anyway, i figure i might as well do a top end rebuild. cam? roller rockers? the yella terras are crazy money but theyre much better than stockers, but they add more lift right? i have every bolt on you can do for this motor- 63mm TB, 99+ intake, header, hi-flow cat..
i know a small amount about motors, but this stuff is over my head. as far as actually doing it, my neighbor is more than able, and hes starting a custom engine building shop out of his garage pretty soon.

Check to see if they make 1:6 rockers for the cherokee. Instead of doing a cam just do the rockers. This will make your jeep think you have a cam with more duration and lift.

you can get the head machined and port/polish but that will not be cheap. but it will give ya some powers

You could hog out the heads a little for some more flow. Not sure it would actually help considering stock cam and such.
