My plan today is to replace the inner shaft I broke at RCROCS. The damn ujoint decides it dose not want to come out! Neither the broken shaft or the new shaft (which has a joint in it) move. Actually, I got the broken shaft u-joint to move 3/16" but that was all. After 30 minutes banging on it in the vise and then trying to press it out using the vise, the vise decides its going break in half. Lovely. I call a local machine shop who wants $50 PER SIDE to press them out. Screw that, Im off to grab some cut off wheels to cut it partially out and bang out the caps individually. I just needed to share my experience because Im sure others can share my pain.

the things in your body, they are "yours" hence the "u" and there are joints, such as ball in socket joint, hinge joint etc.

You can come use my press if you want. At 50 bucks a side it's worth it. Good luck though

I cut the cross section of the ujoint out and the caps tapped right out. I should have just done that in the first place instead of wasting my time, energy, and breaking my vise. Cool note I found out, it uses a 1480 ujoint. Bad news is its much more expensive.
