a bronco 44 is a lp axle and it does have the wedges. on mine we were able to just cut them off and knock them off . depending on the years i think u can just remove them. think its the earlier years u want

its yours... everyone in SIS is broke except for will, well he is still broke. danbury is ctually closer to where ill in georgetown if that works out better i added steering too currie... mmmm
the d44 in my bronco is a HP. and id really like to sell the 9" and d44as a pair. older ones i believe some f150 and earlier broncos were LP

went and double checked. mine is definitely HP and has cast wedges u can knock off for sure. i will post pics when i get home from worky

i recall 29 spline 8.25. its froma 96 automatic... your guess is as good as mine.
its more of a cut half way and hit with a hammer knock off lol

i recall 29 spline 8.25. its froma 96 automatic... your guess is as good as mine. its more of a cut half way and hit with a hammer knock off doug lol ive messed with this style 44 axle before.... it has radius arms correct?? when you cut into teh cast wedge it is hollow inside and basicly makes it unusable. unless you want to run a ford radius arm.

u wouldnt need to use the radius arm setup... just make new link brackets. and its already set up for coils on top. there are tons of guys who go full width with this axle.
