Thanks guys, I was going for the best approach angle possible. As for the D-rings there 20,000 pounders from tractor supply. As for the winch I dislike the looks of a really long front bumper made for a winch. My plan is to mount a winch on a plate with a reciever mount so I can use it in the back or front or on anyone else's rig. And to Adam yes the receiver will have some attention payed to it to ensure it will be strong enough for pulls. I may or may not do some more work to it today, suppose to be camping...

mine is built similar to yours (aka more high clearance than any bumper you can buy) and lately i have been thinking more about winches.
I'm hoping if i remove the a/c condenser and trim my grill I might have a chance of mounting it in there.
