I aquired a free tracker and im deciding to build it up with pete and my friend bryan. its a 95 Geo tracker with a 5 speed trans and a 16 valve motor. Bryan has a set of 33" BFG mallers layin around so thats what is on it now with a set of cheap American racing outlaws. i havent done much besides cut the fenders and stuff the 33s in there with no lift. and put a snorkel on it. all the glass was taken out (even the windshield cause a tree fell on it and broke it). it needed a new t case so we got one for 50 bucks and that is gettin put it shortly so it will be driveable again. to the trunk. here are some future plans: toyota truck axles and leaf springs 33 MTs lincoln lock rear and maybe front army drab green paint job with black star on door(hence the name GI tracker) custom front subframe to be able to convert to solid axle front. fuel tank either relocated to truck or custom skid. more to come when i start planning this out more if anyone has suggestions please let me know

Short wheel base FTL. I have never understood why ppl put $$ in to those but do what you like. I am sure it will be cool when its done.

made a few improvements on it tonight....got the trans and new t case in and 4wd works beautifully. got the doors painted with army drab green and a black star and the hood painted. tomorrow im goin to finish the fenders and hopefully fab up some sort of gas tank skid cause its mounts rusted out and its falling down.....im thinking of just relocating to the trunk unless i can find good enough metal to weld a custom skid. however i noticed in 4lo it feels like the brakes are on and it slows down really fast, but not in 2wd or 4hi. maybe its just how it is. but it drives fine so im not too worried. cant wait to get the paint all done and get all the mud off of the unclean body panels. pics coming
