alright we got a lot of work done today. Put in the new JKS trackbar, rear hidden hitch, and front end skid. we also fixed my exhaust so it doesnt knock on the crossmember anymore and rewelded the rear shock back up there. just gotta get the SYE in eventually and change the coolant. I also got some herculiner so im eventually gonna do the bottom of my doors and the rear corners with that and take the plastic pieces off since one is basically falling off now anyway.

well i decided to tackle the doorless mod tonight with my friend. everything was going great, pins came out pretty easily and all that. went to put the doors back on and something is not right as they are not lining up right. we were trying to do something different and weld the bolt on the hinge and cut the bottom part of the hinge off so it will work like a tj door, but that failed miserably as it was near impossible to get the thing on. now i think my hinges are in bad shape or something and not in the right spot on the door cuz its not even close to lining up. should have just replaced the pins and not taken the hinges off the door to mod them. we even marked them on the door where they were and still are not right. fuck me. well finish tomorrow I tried following this: but failed for now. the hinges just need aligning i think www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=444398

doorless on a 98 plus is the worst idea ever.
I did it to my 98 with the new style hinges and the doors sag about an inch on each side. I am buying hinges from the dealership from a 95 and welding them on and redoing the setup with them like wills jeep.
I just used long bolts to put mine on but there is no way to avoid ovaling out the holes so they in turn sag like hell.
