I just joined the forum, I gotta say it's definitely the most entertaining forum that I've seen. You all seem like a swell bunch of ball-bustin bastards!
I'm just some guy that lives in the Catskill mountains in Delaware County, NY. I work at SUNY Delhi (that's a college...) running the paint shop and doing glass repair. I'm married with 2 young kids (6 months and 2 years), but I still find time to work on and wheel my Jeep.
Oh, yeah, my Jeep. I bought myself a 2000 XJ for my birthday this past winter. From there I installed a 3" lift from Rusty's and threw on some 31" TrXus MTs. I keep a set of 31"TSLs around for when I need tougher tires. I bought a stupid gay roof rack so that I could put my spare tire in it and look like everybody else that has a stupid gay roof basket with a spare tire in it. I put on an Or-Fab winch bumper and a Mile Marker 8000 lb winch to pull my brothers XJ out of mud holes and such. It turns out that the bumper is really good for killing deer too. I have an Aussie for the front that I have to find the time to install, hopefully soon. Next on my to get list is some skids, sliders and a rear locker. That's about all I'm planning on doing to it for now, as it's my dd, kid hauler.
I'm heading down to Rausch Creek again on Sept. 20th. I'm looking for people to come along......so come along!
