autolockers don't suck in the snow.
put down the jeepforum guide to life dammit
they will only pull you straight if you gas it in 4 wheel on tight parking lotish turns
i could cruise through 8" of slushy gunk without even using 4 wheel drive, and even in 4 wheel, it wasn't like I would begin going straight and my throttle sticks as my brakes fail and you crash into a ditch.
or do it the geno way, and swap out your locker in the winter because you have a mangina

Corey and I found a place Justin's jeep couldn't go. & that place where he made his tierod into a pretzel. Truth. Adam didn't you say that you were putting an lsd in your jeep no matter what and that it was not up for debate? I think I remember seeing it in the future plans thing you made that had that fancy picture. Please correct me but I was under the impression that the ected used 12 volts to lock it and ran lsd when unlocked.

Gotchya In that case I would not go with the ected. Again not sure how the true track works. I would go the lunchbox route. But heads up there will be funky clunky noises on pavement on sharp turns which could be worse on my jeep cause of the rear being spooled. If you plan to keep the 30 forever then I would vote for the wait and get what you truly desire.

The ETC's had engagement issues that they just worked out. The improved D30 version is not available yet as far as I just read.

Oh and I disagree with Sam. I drove my red truck in the snow with the lockrite in the front. It blows. throttle in turns=push.
