i bought my 93 XJ a year and a half ago in december from my dealer for $500. the paint and interior were mint, the catch was it had 247k on it but ran excellent. drove it stock over the winter and did research / saved money for a lift. finally last year in april (ironically about the same time heavymetal got its ravines ) i bought a rusty's 4.5" lift and 33" pro comps because they were a good price and i didn't know any better during the lift first day out modified it here and there over the summer and in oct finally showed back up on SiS where i got really serious into my jeep and the whole community. added C4x4 tow hooks MORE motor mounts MORE steering brace TnT OTK steering and custom track bar

the parts pile... lebaron hood vents rustys longarms with clayton crossmember XJ D44 getting ZJ disk brakes, 4.56's and Aussied last week i got a skidrow transfer case skid. new bushings and flex joints for the long arms. RE hack and tap and front XJ shaft today i got TnT stiffeners JCR stage 2 sliders should be here within the week if no problems arise. once i get all this installed the next step is lockers and gears!

FYI DO not do the ZJ discs. It is IMHO a very unsafe mod. Do Crown Vic discs, Direct bolt on disc brake swap for XJ D 44's. PM or IM me for more info if you wish.

well today i fixed the power steering line. i'll have to get pics of my custom removal tomorrow. lets just say the line wouldn't come off and a sawzall was involved
