hey...my name is Gary, at least that's what my name tag says.
I am looking to get into the offroad community. Right now, I am attempting to purchase a 1988 XJ, with 97,000miles on it. It has seen better days but for 100 bucks who wouldn't buy it. (Some of you may have heard of it from "Riot") Obviously, i'm friends with Riot and he showed me the site. So I look forward to getting the jeep and learning as much as possible about jeeps.

I will attempt to check the forums as much as possible, but between 2 jobs, one full time, and trying to get my jeep to turn on, and windsheild wipers off. I won't be a HUGE contribution, but i'll try.

Also, if anyone cares to help with jeep work, i'd be more than welcoming advice or help. You can contact me

Heyy.
I almost bought this jeep, and wow. It needs some help. A lot of a love. We turned this thing on with a new battery, and it didn't even try to turn over, it just made a funny buzzing noises.
So on behalf of Gary and his jeep "Greg" any ideas?

I grew up on second ave, where ya from in west haven?

Wonder if you've ever seen my god fathers jeep. It's like a light blue metallic, skyjacker lift on 35's. he's in the fire dept.

^ No way man I live on Seaview Ave (west haven), its off Ocean Ave. I pretty much grew up on First Ave though. Hey Gary what part are you from? I'll be back from school on weekends if you need a hand.
