I like the waggy swap.. a little more width is nice. no major cash spending. sometimes find them with 3.73 i think? Ive done the uni bearing swap. The rear 44 i bought the axles with the dual bolt pattern from superior and did the disc brake upgrade at the same time. Both axles are under my MJ right now.. but were well wheeled in my XJ Pro's, servicable bearings. Bigger brakes, bigger bolt pattern, disco hubs for a true 2wd, bigger u joints, and cheaper locker choice, Spool, and disconect the hubs. If i bust an axle, take it out and run 3 wheel drive. Cons, No quick fix if you brake a custom part. The warn hub conversion, need custom stub shafts? and special rotors. My choice was to cut off the inner c's and weld on older d44 outers. I did this to a rubi front 44 because it was a 44 and no need to weld on all the other stuff and would be a bolt in. Im going molly inners and if that is the only thing that is custom and if i brake it, Than im down untill i get a new axle cut, but my swap i had to go a different length inner axle. Nothing off the shelf i culd find would fit.
