began work on my xj on wednesday april 2nd. heres what she looked like to start:
the original owner had installed a 2 inch BB kit in means to install 31s which he never did. started work in the shop at school and ran into many many problems with the front end leaving no time to install the rear of the kit, so i had to drive home with the front end up from the rear and the track swept a few inches towards my drivers side as i didnt get a chance to relocate the track bar. i also ended up having to remove the front coil spacers because of the problems with fittings we were having with the new springs and lower control arms
so that was it for wednesday.
thursday came around and i said to myself: "ahhh no problem ill just pop the rear kit in and away i go!". . . . NO NO my friends. NEVER is that simple... got to removing the springs, got the front bolts unthreaded without popping the weld off the interior nut, and OF COURSE the bolt is siezed in the spring eye sleeve... well instead of fiddling i decided to work on taking everything else apart, justin came and helped me about half way through. then i had to go to work. got back and said fuck it. i sawsalled through the bolt on both sides, and flatbared the spring eye out of the hanger on the drivers side to end the day with this:
today(friday) being my only day off, it had to rain outside so heres where i end until i get some more decent weather to work in
