Why are you switching out all that stuff anyways? Something wrong with yours?

I say if your gonna do it, do it right and get it painted. it may cost more but it will look much better in the long run than just painted rattle can black IMHO

I am getting the front end as a b day gift. I wont see parts until about december ish cause it takes a while to make them (we placed our order for nov production) and its over seas to CA then to me. So thats why the $$ is not going to bills and such. I am getting a part time second job to help with bills so i can wheel more.
And YES i am doing it because i like the looks. To each their own, i like it and i like my jeep to be different from everyone elses. Alex is getting my old fenders and front end (header panel cracked in a few places) to put on his new jeep.
Yea there are things that i could use that money on besides this but i have wanted to do it for a while and i dont really care if anyone thinks its ugly or a waste of money cause thats why its my jeep. I have most everything the way i want it besides finishing upgrading my ARB bumper and installing my unibody stiffiners and a few misc things so i figure its time for some cosmetic stuff.
My friend works at a body shop and is going to get me a price to paint the parts, id really like to get it all matched, and i am getting a new hood from the bone yard and having louvers pressed in it so i will paint that at the same time because the paint on my hood is all oxidized and such. So the nose will be all shiny and new just waiting for new scratches. I prolly wont install the front end till spring so i can get it painted over the winter and install it when its warm out again unless i can borrow a garage to work in.
Oh and i will be getting my jeep back on monday, the parts for the rear end just came in this afternoon and they have other jobs they are doing instead of rushing through my jeep so i can have it a few days earlier, i think i can hold out till then.

I think it will look bad ass but i am going to save $$ to get it all painted right and do a new hood get it louvered, and do it right. It prolly wont be done till spring, i figure parts wont be here till Dec. Ish and then i still need to get it painted and install it and i dont fit in my garage to do all that.

i like the china jeep. methinks itll look pretty schweet kyle. get the grille plated gold chrome to match all your orvis badging Dont tempt me me to trim the grille in gold paint. If done right that could look amazing. Not shiny gold like real gold but kinda flat or semi gloss like the gold pinstriping and the badging. Hmmmmmm
