That pipe bender worked great. We did all the calculations wrong at first, added almost twice as much pipe then we really needed, but all the bends are the same. Not bad for our first time.

i have this brainstorm for frame tie in.

weld lengths of square stock whatever dimension i measure, into the frame rails from the top (cuz we can now access the inside of em..lol)

the top mounting plate would be flush with the XJs rear floor, and welded all around, while being welded to the tube "leg", which in turn is welded through the stock, welded into the frame. stiff.

got the a-pillars done today, they are a full tube that go up from the floor and all the way back to the rear hoop, the b-pillar will attach into this when i get more t00b

also made a crossbar that mounts between the a-pillars but there was no way to hold it up there for a pic without a tack-weld, it has a bend in it angled towards the windshield.
