the jeep is stripped and done.
started at 6 pm, just me and my buddy justin, we finished around 430 this morning with a 1 hour break for food and stuff. engine/tranny/tcase/axles/gastank/wiring harness/interior/everything was stripped from the jeep and is getting ready to be sold/used.
ill post some pics of the carcass and some pics before we tore it apart. it was a fun jeep for the 10 mins i drove it.

It's a sad day. That Jeep was a very capable beast.

paul you shouldnt be sad, you should be happy, your jeep lives on in many different jeeps now and helped alot of people out! when we got it testing it out interior stripped axles + interior + suspension done, engine next.

we did pull the master cyl and wiring harness, just not till after the pics were taken the white 99 is justin's paul, you said the axles were 3.55 gears, and the tag on the axle said 3.07. did you regear them ever or are they really just 3.07? was wondering because i dont want to swap em in mine and then find out they are still 3.07s

They definatly should have been 3.55, i never even remember seeing tags on them, i had another 8.25 w/3.55 gears in the rear end for months and always assumed the front was 355 and the rear was too.. it should be 3.55, otherwise i drove with different gears front and rear for months.. and never noticed anything? pretty sure there 3.55.
