Just got around to opening this and I really am not one to complain-but I really got screwed on this "modified" snorkel. I have recieved new bolts and washers from who knows what when the correct hardware should be metric. A bracket from what looks like a seatbelt bracket and a piece of tube from what looks like it was cut from a piece of an innercooler. Just curious on how you had this mounted. ... And I already know-buyer beware.

OK, First of all, You should have pmd me first instead of openly telling everyone that i am a bad seller and that i ripped you off. had you not done that i might be more willing to help. On top of that i had to eat $30 more on shipping because of the size of the package. Second, You waited how long to open this? Third, I clearly stated i would send you pictures and computer typed installation instruction with pictures for this "modified" snorkle. It came off a wrecked jeep that my friend had and i had to "modify" it to make it work. The Tube you speak of is original but was broken off and had to be glued on. The glue used on it is a High quality melt on glue from the automotive customizing shop i work at. That modification also made it possible to send the air tube behind the air box like an airflow snorkle, which allows the use of the stock washer fluid bottle on 97 plus xj's. Slightly modified arb snorkel for any year xj. I have modified it to have a mroe direct flow of air muck like an Air Flow brand snorkel and so you do not have to relocate the 97+ washer bottle. its all pretty self explainatory for installation, you just need to be dead on when drilling the 3 1/4" hole in the fender. $250 shipped for SIS members. Had you accepted the instruction i would have sent you I would have explained how to install the snorkel. The metal tube needs to be mountd on the rear of the air box and sealed with silicon sealant. The front of the air box needs to be closed up and sealed as well. The bracket supplied for the mount is actually stronger than the original mount, as well as the hard ware that had to be put together to replace the corroded hardware off the original vehicle it came off of. Once again after almost a year you finally open it and then complain about the the snorkle when i offered pre purchase pictures and installation instructions, i really dont feel that i have screwed anyone on this sale, You, Screwed Your self. Actually the only one that got screwed here was me because you are giving me a bad name now. You got an ARB snorkel for $150 knowing it was not perfect and you are complaining. My offer for directions and pictures: I use pay pal, Sorry i did not get back to you sooner, i have been at school and work all day. I can have it ready for monday to ship out if you need. There are no directions with so if you want i will write up some of my own directions to use as a guide line. you are on your own for the placement and drilling of the hole in the fender. It has a much nicer flow than the normal arb setup. I will get to work on some direction for installation. My pay pal account is xtrememtbiker85@yahoo.com i can try to get it out by friday evening if you want if not deffinitly monday. I will get you pictures tonight. Your Denial: No pics needed. Had one on my TJ so I do not need any instructions either Thankyou. Snorkel mounted fine on my 95 like that.

I have to vouch for the fact that Kyle here is not out to screw anyone, and i would reckon he is one of the more trustworthy people you'll ever deal with.

I paid you extra if you remember 175 to cover all costs.I am not a newbie at this. Yes had one on my TJ. And again Buyer beware. Done deal. Anyone that knows me knows that I and my husband are mechanically inclined and the things that were sent are really not correct for this application. Yes- I did wait along time to open up package. My fault. Assumed all correct hardware was also included. I apologize for putting this on the open forum.

AS i have already stated. This is NOT a 100% original ARB snorkle. It is Modified as you knwo. modifications do not usually incluse reusing original parts especially since it had already been on two jeeps, the original jeep being the wrecked jeep that it was salvaged from. Again, i warned you about all of the conditions and offered plenty of assistance with installation and PRE Sale pictures so you knew what you were getting in to. It appears to me that your "I know it all" attitude has finally gotten the better of you. I accept you apology for taking this to the open forum but please next time when someone tells you what you are buying is modified and they offer pictures and installation instruction, Take them.
