pics, not broke all the way around, not quite as bad as i thought. going out to weld the frame back together and waiting for my chopsaw to come back (uncle borrowed it) need advice from yous guys that know what your talkin about I'm thinking the strongest thing would be to cut that lip off of the frame and weld that angle iron (see bottom pic) in there and have the other side's plate tie into that. good? bad?

I would say angle would be a very strong remedy and fishplate the other side.

Yeah Corey if that is what you have around, that angle will work great. The only thing that will work better would be channel.

called it a night, got a bunch done, still one gap i want to fill in the back where the angle ends will be done tomorrow.

oh and thats not 4 seperate pieces its one 4" x 1/4" and one 1.5" x 1/4" with a cut in the middleish to make the bend.

looks pretty stout, but why did you fill in that last bolt hole after the PS box bolts? or did the MJs not have that?

there were a bunch of holes that i went right over but they weren't being used. what is there purpose?

there were a bunch of holes that i went right over but they weren't being used. what is there purpose? that last one is commonly used for the last mounting bolt on front end shtuff, and the tow hooks go back to that bolt as well not say things aint strong enough when theyre not mounted that far back (my bumper isnt on the driver's side), but its just food for thought.
