is that thing tied down the frame rail? or just mounted to factory bumper mounts with those 8 bolts on the unibody face?

it is right now on the factory bolts which is just the end of the frame rail flaired out but i have a designe idea to put bolts through the rail but still using those 8 points... its not done yet i still have shackle brackets going on there... those are 3/4" think and more gussets on the brackets... there not welded yet obviously... that big C clamp is holding it on there

dont use that hitch. if you get yanked from it it will just pull the bolts through the stock sheet metal

oh, and needs more triangulation. all you have is 2 "T's" keeping it on. it will bend if force is applied to one side

eh i dont think the bumper will rip out the way it is now.. i pulled off the stock bumper once before cuz i knew i was going to build my own so i didnt care about bending it... but like i said it is going to be mouted through the frame rail... it will be on my rig at Mabelle and im open to opinions on how to better attach it to the frame.. but that probly wont happen till after the mabelle run... and i still have 10 1/2" triangle gusstes cut out for it... but i dont think all of them are going to be used anymore

yeah i have more geomotry being aded to it.. but even if i was to just weld it like that i think the welds would break before i bend 1" solid steel  |

the only thing that might be in the way is where the leafs are mounted... but im sure i can fab up somthing to make it work  |

yeah i deffinatly will post some more tomorrow night... unfortunatly my welds will not hold up to anyhting close to this so my dad is welding it for me... but i think once the shackles are on there and its painted its going to look good  |
