Well I threw this together over the weekend and welded the brackets on today. Total cost was about $40. Its a bit bigger than I thought it would be on the truck. I may cut it down. I will have to see. I think if anyone is going out this weekend to wheel I will go and see how it does. On to the monster. I only have it mounted with the 3 bumper bolts but I have a spacer in there so when I make the unibody tie in plates it will bolt right up. Needs some finish work, shackle mounts and some paint. Yes or No on cutting it down a bit, opinions are wanted. Thanks. No its not TIG welded like normal. I just threw it together.

Think its too big? Go buy the materials and come on up! 20ft 1 1/4 schedule 40 pipe from Home Guido or Lowes. Then get some plate for the frame mounts. Make the plates and holes ahead of time. We can bend up the pipe and weld it in no time.
P.S. Who's wheelin Sunday?

I think it may be a little to tall and stick out to far, id prolly like mine a little shorter closer to the jeep.. I have no means to cut plate and drill holes.. however i can buy the stuff and bring it up?

Yeah. I already measure it all out to cut it down and bring it in. I should have built it on the truck. Not a big deal to fix. Yeah Will, all the pipe was $31 total. Cost is key. Im HMT till I die.

I have a tubing notcher that I used on the rock rails and the rear bumper but I didnt have it at my house. I had to go old school on the this pig. 4 1/2 angle grinder and a cutting and grinding wheel.
