Will, I'm making one right now but I'm also going to cut my quarter panels and tuck them under so the bumper can wrap around back to the frame rail. I'm tired of hitting on them and I refuse to buy or make armor.
For the swivel, I turned down an f-150 rotor, it's perfect. The bumper is 2"x4" 1/8" wall and teh carrier material is 2"x2" 1/8" wall.
On your design, scratch the Hi-lift mounted straight up, you are going to catch it on something. Mount it parallel to the bumper under the tire.

I'm tired of hitting on them and I refuse to buy or make armor. thats what it does, hence 'wrap around' bumper the rear lower 1/4 gets chopped and the bumper will wrap into that section but yeah, i was fiddling with the hilift idea and mounting it flat is a better idea. post yours up when its done, would love to see it

im bumpin this......i need one again...tryin to have it made up at olson for me..so im drawin designs out now. this is my eventual goal. basically i am copying the detours bumper design to some degree... i would like to have a detours bumper, and a rigidco swing arm, if all goes according to plan..unsold on the swing arm now though. this is kyle's detours bumper (what im copying) and here is the rigidco bumper, only lookin at the swing arm on this (and also not as wide, the swing arm on the bumper im designing will be like detours, it will be mounted on the face of the bumper.): reason for a design like this is i want it to be able to mount a jerry can or ammo can on and a hi-lift. these are my "Drawings" right now...cou;d change to make it easier to make/simple i would actually prefer the swing arm removeable but i cannot think of a realistic feasible way to do that with a quality hinge...so right now the focus is making the swing arm not look like an eye-sore when the tire is off of it.
